Based around the importance of slowing down and being present for our meals, Mindful Munching encourages children to eat with a purpose. Instructors begin by reading No Ordinary Apple to the class. Following this, children will each receive their own local apple, which they will be encouraged to notice the details often overlooked, such as smell, texture, weight, and more! Finally, children will be invited to munch their apple mindfully with engaging new eating techniques demonstrated by instructors.
