- 2 cups locally grown berries – frozen berries work well. I like a combination of blueberries and strawberries
- 1/2 cup apple cider – if you don’t have any, use water and maple syrup or another sweetener to taste
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
Thaw fruit (if frozen). Blend berries and cider in a blender or food processor. Stir in chia seeds. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Serve warm or cold, alone or as a topping/spread. Store in the refrigerator for about a week.
